Rivers & Roads

I am currently taking a quick blog break from cleaning and packing before we go to Amsterdam tomorrow! We are staying in an Airbnb which I think will be a fun way to see and explore the city. I am have been trying to look up some fun things to do around the city, but I think we are pretty much going to wing it. There is so much to do, I don't think we will get bored.
This past weekend we babysat for Simon's cousin who lives pretty close by which was fun! Her and her husband have two little kids, Lise who is 2 and Miel (which means honey!) who is 1. They are both incredibly cute, unfortunately Lise was about to go to sleep when we got there so I don't have any pictures of her, put I snapped plenty of little Miel.
Not much to report on the visa front this week, hopefully when we get back from Amsterdam the papers from the police will have gotten to the immigration office!
There was no school this week, and next week on Tuesday I have the oral part of my final exam so this weekend I need to practice my speaking with Simon!
Dutch phrase of the day: Ik moet studeren voor mijn exam! = I must study for my test!
